Manufacturing process

From your drawing to your door.

The steps below reflect LC&AKIN’s verified aluminum die-casting and downstream manufacturing route. Some project-specific steps—such as impregnation—are used only when required by the technical agreement.

13-step route

A connected path from inquiry to delivery.

0

Inquiry & DFM

Drawing or sample review, quotation and manufacturability feedback.

1

Incoming inspection

ADC12 composition and hardness check.

2

Material preparation

Prepare material according to the production plan.

3

Melting

Central melting and furnace-front sampling.

4

Die casting

180T–1000T equipment with automated part handling.

5

Deburring

Remove casting flash and prepare the part.

6

Shot blast & passivate

Surface cleaning and rust-prevention treatment.

7

CNC machining

Machine critical interfaces and perform patrol checks.

8

Leak testing

Every applicable part tested at 0.15–0.2 MPa.

9

Impregnation

Qualified external process when the agreement specifies it.

10

Cleaning

Clean the finished part surface.

11

Packaging

Standard carton or customer-specific packing.

12–13

Outgoing inspection & delivery

Final check, report, loading and shipment.

New-product introduction

Tooling and sample confirmation precede production.

For a new die-cast component, the project begins with drawing review and mold development. A T1 trial checks dimensional and fill condition before small-batch sample confirmation.

  • New tooling: typically 45–60 days, depending on complexity
  • Samples: typically 10–15 days after T1 trial
  • Up to two free fine-tuning sample adjustments if needed
  • Technical diagnosis within 48 hours if a sample issue is identified
